Age Groups
Men: 21+, 35+, 45+, 55+, 60+, 65+, 70+, 75+, 80+, 85+, 90+
Women: 21+, 50+, 55+, 60+, 65+, 70+, 75+, 80+, 85+

  • Age is determined as of December 31, 2017
  • Minimum age for competitors is 21 years.

PARTICIPATION FEES
$5 Games Fee per athlete
$30 per race – Cycling Entry Fee

ELIGIBILITY

  • Participants should be active members of the USA Cycling or the comparable organization in their home country. Participants who are not members should become a member before registering for the USA Masters Games. Membership information can be found on the USA Cycling website.
  • If you are not a USA Cycling member, you may purchase a one-day license.
  • For international athletes, appropriate documentation is required.

OMNIUM RULES

  • Participants will race together but will be scored separate per the age group. Race age is determined by your age on December 31, 2017
  • Top 15 will be scored in the Road and Criterium. Road Race & Criterium Points: 25, 20, 16, 14, 12, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1
  • Top 10 will be scored in the Time Trial. Time Trial Points: 15, 10, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1
  • Participants must compete in two or more events to be eligible for the overall omnium. Tiebreakers are decided by finish in the road race on the final day of the competition.
  • Omnium points for each event (RR, TT and Criterium) will be awarded from top to bottom of the event results, without regard to the omnium eligibility of each rider. For example, if you are the second place road race finisher, you will receive second place omnium points regardless of whether or not the race winner is eligible for the omnium.
  • Complete and final omnium results will be posted after the protest period is complete for each corresponding road race.

RULES
The meet will be conducted under USA Cycling Rules.

AWARDS
Individual Awards: USA Masters Games Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medals for each Cycling Competition and for Omnium.

SOCIAL ACTIVITIES

  • Opening Ceremonies will be held the evening of Friday, July 14
  • Closing Ceremonies will be Sunday evening, July 16
  • Evening social events for all participating athletes will be held on the other competition days of the Games
